SUDAPET Co. Ltd is the Sudan National Petroleum Corporation, active in the exploration, development, promotion and commercial production of oil and gas in Sudan, and is a shareholder in all of Sudan’s hydrocarbon concessions. As a NOC, SUDAPET has equities varying from 5% to 100% in the licensed petroleum concessions in Sudan with other foreign and national shareholders, in addition to a large range of petroleum associated services subsidiaries. The company is currently exploring, developing and marketing Sudan’s Block 25, in order to sell part of its shareholding in the exploration and production assets of this block, from which the first oil is expected in the first quarter of 2021, It is doing the same with Block 2B & 17, which are producing about 19 KBBLD & 2.3 KNNLD. Also, given the ever-increasing demand for energy in the country, SUDAPET seeks to exploit gas for power generation. To this effect, it plans for Blocks 4, 6 to provide gas as feedstock for power generation, and to explore and develop resources in other blocks, in particular Blocks 8 and 15. With the lifting of US sanctions, SUDAPET hopes to access international financing and establish long-term relationships with international investors in order to benefit from technology transfer and improve the exploration and development of Sudan’s oil and gas industry.

SUDAPET Co. Ltd was established in Feburary 1997 as the national oil company operating in the exploration, development, promotion and commercial production of oil and gas in Sudan, and is a shareholder in all of Sudan’s hydrocarbon concessions. It also has eight (8) specialized subsidiaries operating across the oil and gas sector, from geophysical surveys to upstream services, project management, training and manufacturing. SUDAPET has grown from 5% to 100% ownership of operating blocks in Sudan and focuses on maximizing its value through efficient exploration, development, promotion and commercial production of oil and gas that enables the protection and enhancement of the national interest. SUDAN is a proven oil & gas country, yet it remains one of the least explored countries in the world. We at SUDAPET are committed to lead the process of unlocking and realizing our country’s energy resource potentials, Therefore, We welcome reputable international investors interested in accelerating growth, production and generates superior profit. SUDAPET 2030 Strategy is built on our strategic foundations Human Capital, Profitability in terms of oil and Gas Production and strength governance as follow:
Enhance oil production and sustain its growth by adding more resources and reserves through:
– Short-term and mid-term exploration and development activities of Sudapet related blocks adhering to HSE measures and standards
– Long -term exploration on free blocks
Enhance and improve Sudan’s Natural Gas Sector so as to meet the gas market demand and sustain the commercial supply through focusing on Upstream to Downstream for blocks 4,6 and 8.
